Jolly good Looney. Another problem solved!

Yes Ju, I managed to get the doctor to sign me off. I really was very worried about it. Irrationally so, tbh! We (Kbear and me) have decided that its a mixture of me really not wanting to do it and being a complete control freak! I could just not function, with not knowing who was watching over DD whilst I was sitting in court or even who was getting Christmas sorted to my standards! Still problem solved now and Christmas is coming together nicely!

I'm slowly filing cm toys and stuff away for the holidays. Only one baby now for the rest of the week, so double buggy can go away. Arts & crafts are banned for the week too! Baking instead!

Afternoon all!, I am a little ahead of you Mo! I tidied away all of CM toys at the weekend ready for DDs sleepover (they slept downstairs), and hve vowed to only have out what they want to play with that day. We have 3 christmas parties this week so they'll all be too pooped to play anyway . It will certainly be easier to tiy away on Fri, I'll just hve to tidy a few toys away and remove fireguard/gate.

I am slowly tidying up all my paper work ready for my inspection and have relatively few ommissions which is excellent seeing as I'm known to hate paperwork!!!

I need a new keyboard!!

Can't wait till Wed, am seeing take That at manchester Eve news arena with my friend. Its my birthday on Friday and I finish work on Thursday yayyyyyyyyyyyy!

Available to work on 2nd jan.

Had call off a mum wanting 2 days as her cm is doing a course, so will probably be sharing work. That suits me, a 1 yr old and 9 yr old 2 days a week. I think the other cm is giving up cming she told me she's doing a nursing course so one day I might end up with all week (crossed fingers).

RudolphtheredROSEreindeer · 17/12/2007 19:44

put this on another thread but thought i would add it here cause you lot all know me sorry its long

anyway my step-mum (who i have lived with since i was 9yrs old) is very forgetful and unorganised
take last thursday for example it was my sons play at school (his last one as he is yr6) gave her the tickets, spoke to her the morning of the play, got to the play and no sign of her so at the end of the play got ds to phone her and she was in asda shopping

she is 55 has never worked my dad keeps her but she is busy all day!!

anyway it was my birthday on saturday and we were going out on friday night and i had asked her to babysit at her own home (cause taxi was due at 6.30pm and she would have turned up at 7pm or not at all) anyway she told my dh she had been shoppping all day and couldnt find anything at all to buy me (i think thats -bullshit- but hey)so dh gave her some ideas. the day after my step mum sends my boys back at 10am with my sister and a bunch of cards for my birthday in the card from her and dad was a 20 note.

aibu?? really peed off i hate getting money as no thought what so ever has gone into that and not even a visit or phone call to say hi happy birthday (still not phoned as yet and i dont want to cause i;m peed off)

AND... she gave my boys (aged 10 and 11) the argos cat and said choose what you want from there for x amount

RudolphtheredROSEreindeer · 17/12/2007 19:53

hmm, difficult one, you know her better than any of us, could be down to 'cant be botherd' or could be like my mum and think shes doing the right thing as then you can go and get what you want rather than have a gift you dont like, same for your boys??..FWIW DP would be peeved off tho as he hates getting cold cash in a acard says it shows no effort

Christmas dinner for 22 on Wednesday

When do I get the chickens out of the freezer?

Katymac · 17/12/2007 22:01

Prem baby - I just treat as apparent age rather than chronological age (just like B23 says to)

MightyMoosh · 17/12/2007 22:37

so back from interview, think it went well. hmm not sure... the other candidate is their old maternity nurse, which doesnt fill me with confidence! Also having met the baby at first interview, theres no way could treat her as actual age, she's smaller than my 3m charge!

RudolphtheredROSEreindeer · 18/12/2007 12:40

Aw bless her!, ive had 10 month old here today for settling in session, she adorable..will keep fingers crossed for yoU!, when will you hear??
