Hey Loony, DD took an under 5 space, shes now in full time ed.

my certificate says 2 under 5, no more than one of those under one and 3 5-8, somat about no limit of 8+..prob is tho...OFSTED's website shoing my details actually says 3 under 5 and 2 5-8???????, i havent had a new certificate, but this would make it all fine!?

LOONEYplayingachristmasTUNEy · 13/12/2007 14:20

So they've cocked up and not sent you new cert then?

LOONEYplayingachristmasTUNEy · 13/12/2007 14:21

If that's the case, I'd just call them and say OI, I've had a bloomin enquiry - get ya arse in gear!!!

SweetSnowflake · 13/12/2007 14:26

Woohoo!...just rang em to clear it up and they said once dd wen to school full time and i told them about it they changed my ratios...just someone at their end cocked up and didnt send cert out!, so shes sending new one out and asked if that was ok or would i like to alter my ratios again, is this ok for me??!!..bllody lurve ofsted today!..off on school run, thanyou ..byeeeeeeeeeeee

MaureenMLovesmincepies · 13/12/2007 14:36

You should have taken the opportunty to change it again, to your absolute maximum, save you doing it again!

LOONEYplayingachristmasTUNEy · 13/12/2007 15:19

Great stuff SS! Although to be fair, they are being nice to you because they cocked up in the first place!!

SweetSnowflake · 13/12/2007 16:43

yeah your right and mo i am at maximum already

LOONEYplayingachristmasTUNEy · 13/12/2007 17:43

OMFG - SS, was it you who said on my thread that I should make sure double pay baby's parents could afford to pay me double????? They've just collected and mum grabbed my hand (in reassuring way) and told me not to worry, her going full time gives her an EXTRA £22k a year!!! That's more than dh has EVER earnt full stop!!

MaureenMLovesmincepies · 13/12/2007 18:25

OMG!!!

The mindee that I was moaning about this morning (well his mother anyway) has only just gone home. His mother was late AGAIN!! Only by 10 mins, but he hasn't seen her since drop off yesterday morning! He's been asleep on the sofa for the last 1.5 hrs, didn't want to eat and was complaining of being cold. I put it all down to him staying up late last night at his friends house, whilst his mother was staying in London, because it was easier!

Anyway, all done now. DH is doing dinner and I've just finished hanging my silver and blue baubles from the ceiling. They look fab! Can't show you right now, coz Kbear borrowed my camera yesterday! They really do look very effective though and quite classy if I say so myself!

dmo · 13/12/2007 20:38

hi guys hell of a day only just on on my pc now

Happy Birthday LMG your prob out parting (so were you born on a friday )

is the hat still on mo (red suits you)

mindee came this morning and mum said he is really ill dosed him with medised cant take day off work bye...........
had to phone her to collect at lunch as he was shaking mum said she would come asap (took her 70mins)

got a mum call me i have her son after school and she has another younger son who goes to a childminder near her home, well the childminder works with her mum, dad and neighbour and the buisness is really busy anyway this childminder has been reported to ofsted for taking 5 pre-school children to pre-school in the car on her own so ofsted have closed her (didnt know they could do this) while they investigate so mum needs me to have other son next week which between me and my friend (who is a cm) we can do.

also my niece went in for her opp today (she is well) my sister said they couldnt put her under cause of her diabetes and my noece cried her eyes out my sister said i would have passed out if i was there as they had to put a tube into a hole in my nieces side but the tube was bigger than the hole so they had to make the hole bigger by pushing different size tubes in the hole to streach it (throwing up emotion)

KaySamuels · 13/12/2007 21:29

Oh dmo your poor niece that sounds awful for her!

about other cm but pleased ofsted pulled their finger out and shut her, they must have proof already to do that I would hope think.

KaySamuels · 13/12/2007 21:55

night all

dmo · 13/12/2007 22:46

hi mo
my niece is now 18mth old she was born with cp, is blind, has diabetes and has heart troble
she has a feeding tube which goes into her belly which 4wks ago was pulled out by accident by somebody lifting her up and not noticing the tube was stuck around a bar on the pram
so today she had a new onw fitted, she has had a temp one for the 4wks but its hard work as before you feed her you have to take her tummy acid test incase the tube has moved (the temp ones move alot)
i normally have her on a saturday (can even do her injections now i'm so brave) but i have not had her cause i cant deal with the temp tube
got her booked into mine for a sleep over on the 23rd she loves just being held and hugged

Katymac · 13/12/2007 22:49

DMO - OFSTED have always said to me (group minding) that if I am ever even suspected of being over my numbers they will close me down - I have to be so careful

I document everything and make sure I am 100% accurate

dmo · 13/12/2007 22:58

oh well must be true
bet she feels well sick

the mum said to me it was because as a childminder you are only allowed to take 4 children in a car on your own
i thought bullshit its because she was over her numbers but just smiled and said i would help her out

Katymac · 14/12/2007 07:35

I hope as a C/Mer you are allowed to take more than 4 children out in a car - otherwise I am stuffed

I agree overminding

Mind you - if 2 of the under 5's were attending 10 sessions......

LOONEYplayingachristmasTUNEy · 14/12/2007 14:12

Not read whole thread but I'll have 5 under 5's in my car for a couple of months next year - all above board!

MamaG · 14/12/2007 15:21

the open window was nothing to do with me!

Just dashed in to say hello, have to take DD and her mate to their swimming lesson

I take tehm every Friday, insisted that DD's mate's family never had to do the run, even though its a 20 mile round trip.

Nothing at all to do with the gorgeous young man who teaches them [perv emoticon]

dmo · 15/12/2007 03:16
