Its freezing here, I need to go defrost the car!

Cold here as well - really didn't want to get out of bed. Forecast says it will get warmer during the day, by a few degrees, but still very cold for the morning school run.

Have got first meeting today with new afterschool request! Have used your handbook idea shosha, many many thanks! Just need to print off some copies of the policies I've done and put it together in a folder! It's a dad thats coming without potential mindee. is this normal? I'd like to meet mindee before agreeing to tkae him on! IS it ok to say minimum of three hours for afterschool care?

And got another enquiry coming on monday lunchtime!

Anyhoo mindee's mum turned up drunk again yesterday... and an hour late . I have to face her at 8 this morning and I'm not looking forward to it. Any tips? It's only the second time but it's stressing me out and I just feel sorry for the boy - not even sure if he got any tea last night!

we had a power cut sometime last night dh was watching a movie and it all went black all the street was out
hence this morning no heating on so feels like an ice box even thought heating is on full blast at the mo
need fuel to keep me warm so pass me over all the chocolates, cakes and crumpets

well I feel a little less stressed than yesterday. Still wanna tell mindee parents where they can stick their ungratefulness Only have to put up with them for 11 more weeks (and counting every minute) I cant wait to tell them to bog off

Taking DS to nursery then off to soft play for a catch up/gossip/moan and coffee with CM friends.

I had to scrape ice off car again with CD case. I must buy an ice-scraper - one of those things you always forget to buy.

I noticed 3 different people spraying their cars with that de-froster stuff. That was in the posh part of town - too posh too scrape!

well he's been and was really nice! think he'll want me, he seemed quite impressed with the handbook shosha! took it away with him to discuss things with his partner. He is going to bring mindee round for a visit soon. 2-3 afterschools a week. very excited now! thanks for support.

Tinsel, I have gone completely blank sorry

Mindee, due 9.30 has only just turned up . I KNOW they have a new baby 13 wks old, but had planned on taking him out to explore frosty woods, not enough time now before next lot come. Sigh. And I feel really unreasonable to be grumpy at the parents as they are good friends.

Anyway he is happily building a splendid train track so here I am.

It is strawberry isn't it dmo? at least her new christmas name is better than her last one.

Who was it yesterday who was upset about something on Facebook? I'm just wondering because I've seen someone's status (not from here) saying the funwall is not so much fun and a sad face and I just wondered what I've missed? I have the funwall myself but I've minimised it and haven't looked at a lot of the stuff I've got recently - should I be worried?

eleanorsmum - So glad the meeting went well And no, I'm no god lol but I used to do websites on the side for other childminders. They are quite different to the formal professional look so not everyone's cup of tea. Some love them, some prefer something more business looking.
