afternoon ladies,

Is it time to start writing xmas cards yet? I received my 1st one last week! Caught my mother posting hers at the weekend. Am I being slow or something? I'd better go buy some stamps.

Mo - I'm so pleased you got off JS. You were very unlucky to get it at this time of year.

Snowflake - gimmethatmuffin!!

Maximmummy - I keep getting stuff like that sent to me. It can be so upsetting, often get the same thing sent to me 2 or 3 times. I used to get loads of really nasty porn stuff, I think it was supposed to be funny but when you've got parents of mindees as friends it is very embarrassing. I ended up removing those 'friends'.

Loony - hows the pregnancy going? any weird cravings yet?

SweetSnowflake · 10/12/2007 12:52

Fruity, i gave all mine out 3rd december i had them bought sept and wrote by end of that month!..oh and i WAS saving the muffin, it was sat here, id had so much i felt sick and the little oinker inside me, just shoved the last chunk in my mouth

fruitloop79 · 10/12/2007 13:00

oh yeah, I've got a mum and her 6 month old baby coming to see me on Thurs, I'm really excited cos she seems so nice on the phone. Plus she lives on next street and is a friend of a mother who uses my CM friend iyswim.
If this all goes to plan, I wont have to do anymore house pick ups/drop offs. No more getting up at 6:15am .

I've gotta go round to my 'make-me-anxiuos' parents house tomorrow eve so they can discuss "discipline" and "other things" for their DS. God knows what they wanna talk about. Maybe that they are leaving as have decided to get an Au Pair {smile](no such luck). Oh well I'll have to see. Has anyone else had to go round for the parents to discuss things with you?

shoshaliteupthetree · 10/12/2007 13:00

OH mo that is so good, I am so pleased you were getting into such a state, now you can relax and enjoy christmas.

fruitloop79 · 10/12/2007 13:02

Oh dear, I'd better get a writing then! I have bought them so the thought has been there since friday

I just need some of those lovely xmas stamps - my mum's still using her stamps from last xmas!

MaureenMLovesmincepies · 10/12/2007 13:07

OK normal service resumed! I just phoned my parents to say, if they need me next week at all, I'm here, anyday, even if its not our usual days, because I've lost one of my under 5's anyway, so I won't be over my numbers at all. Onemum said, great, I'll lt you know later today and another said. 'Oh I hadn't even done anything about next week yet, so that saves me the bother!
