awwwwwww Mo, maybe you will get there the first day and the case will be dismissed and you can go home, or maybe it might be something like the Darwins so you can get all the goss.

PrincessSnowLife · 10/12/2007 07:35

I know I'm not officially allowed in here but wanted to ask how you are this morning? going to the docs?

MaureenMLovesmincepies · 10/12/2007 07:38

Shosh its next week and my plan is to go to the doctos and tell the I can't do it.

Thanks Princess, been thinking about it all night again and will be going in about an hour. We've got a walk in clinic today, so I'll be there hours I expect.

oh good! (about the docs not the waiting!)
I'll leave you to it now
bye

shoshaliteupthetree · 10/12/2007 07:42

Make sure you go Mo, you sound so worried about it all.

MaureenMLovesmincepies · 10/12/2007 07:47

Thanks Princess, I appreciate your concern, even if you have made me cry again!

I'm so in a mess about it Shosh, I know its totally irrational, but I just can't do it. Been crying all weekend, its turning me into a nervous, grumpy mess.

Anyway, hopefully, I can work it through with the doctor and he'll sign me off. One of my mindees mums works in the court and she is in agreement, that if I'm in this much of a state, I won't have to do it.

LoveMyGirls · 10/12/2007 08:00

Morning everyone,

(((((((((MO))))))))))

shoshaliteupthetree · 10/12/2007 08:01

Mo I so hope he does sign you off.

Ellie, one thing I int put in email but have printed off for all parents is this www.hpa.org.uk/infections/topics_az/schools/schools_guidelines_2006.pdf

There is no arguments about whether they can or cannot conme in when ill then.

MaureenMLovesmincepies · 10/12/2007 09:26

I'm back, receptionist said there as a really long wait and did I want to make an appointment for another day. I told her it was very urgent today and she 'found' an appointment for 11.50, so I'm gong back later.

A question. Do your children know or are they kinda aware of what pastry is made of and how old are they? Strange question, I know, its all part of my plan to make the doctor think I've completely lost it! But seriously, would you think a 9 year old girl would know?

mumlove · 10/12/2007 09:41

Morning all.

{{{{{{big hugs}}}}}} for everyone, I feel we all need them at the moment and extra for Mo.

Us childminders are doing our xmas party for the mindees today, will need the paracetamol later.
Hope you all have a nice day, at least it's dry here today.

dmo · 10/12/2007 10:11

morning guys

how cold is it today? my toes were like ice on the school run this morning but now are slowey melting indoors
hope everybody is ok

dmo · 10/12/2007 10:14

going to quiz my after school children on the pastry tonight mo and will let you know

MaureenMLovesmincepies · 10/12/2007 10:20

Thnaks, I'm asking because I was a bit shocked that my neighbours 9 year old, didn't know that pastry was made from flour! It may be I'm doing her a complete injustice, afterall not everyone has the time or patience to do baking with their kids. I just know that I can and have been sending dd into the kitchen for at least 2 years to sucessfully make scones and mincepies, with only oven help.
