Trouble is Mumlove, they leave it right to the end of term, so there's no time to reschedule. I know its kinda the done thing, but if they did it in June, as least if it was wet, they might stand a chance of being able to find another date. Ours is Friday, so I'm hoping it'll better by then. DD is in the sack race. I really wish they wouldn't do sack races for year 6 girls, some of them most definately need more substantial under garments, iykwim!!

Great I've got thunder and lots of rain ( ihope it's gone before the school run)

even though the little one wil love jumping in the puddles hehe

It has been sunny for ages and now the wind has picked up and it has gone so dark! Why does ot always rain at school time?

MaureenMLove · 03/07/2007 15:08

BORED!!! You lot are all at school, although you might be getting wet, so that cheers me a bit!! DD is having an induction at her new school, littlest mindee is sleeping and bigger mindee is doing after school club. BORED!!!

MaureenMLove · 03/07/2007 15:46

How wet did you all get then?

crace · 03/07/2007 17:48

Mo! For shame- we did ok, it poured it down right, literally straight after we got through the door. I was legging it home to the sound of thunder. Scary!

Been pouring all afternoon.

just been to pick up ds glasses, he's 10 and it's his first pair bless his little cottons. Will break his legs if he breaks them his first day at school! ;)

mumlove · 03/07/2007 18:17

Managed to stay dry during school run as had to take the car as DD has ballet straight after. But it poured down as we were waiting to get out of the car and then again while we were in ballet, so I was happy.

MaureenMLove · 03/07/2007 18:41

Back fired on me actually! I had to nip to the shops for something after the mndees had gone and I got v.v. wet! That'll teach me!

crace · 03/07/2007 18:54

Mo... karma babe karma

Hey - fifi did a runner! All ok, me dear?

Still can't believe my baby (10) is in specs. Bless him. I was same age when I got mine, poor kid never stood a chance.

I have another settling in day with the baby that is starting in September tomorrow (will have him biweekly) so won't be around a lot tomorrow - he's very demanding and I am a bit worried about it to be honest whether i am up to it but I guess that is what these sessions are for!

MaureenMLove · 03/07/2007 19:34

I don't think kids in glasses have the same problems tbh. DD has been wearing them for about 5 years now, for close work and its so much more of a fashion statement. She's got the most gorgeous blue pair and with her long blonde hair she looks just like that woman who does 10 years younger!
Fifi, didn't hang about did she? Hope she's ok.

crace · 03/07/2007 20:21

How right you are - it's so much more fashionable than it was when I wore them!

Hi all

My computer has been out of action for about 12 weeks so haven't been on here since then; Whats behind the idea of the staff room??

Cheers Tan
