Don't often swear on here but, Bloody hell Looney! You're a bit scarey aren't you!!! I think Pan may have got the message! Hope he/she doesn't come into the staff room, I might have to ask our very own forces sweethearts to get us some helmets! {Mo makes a mental note NEVER to upset Looney}

madge7 · 22/06/2007 17:51

Go Looney! Go Looney!
I didnt say anything constructive, I just cant find it in me to give him the time of day!

crace · 22/06/2007 17:58

Go LT - he's mad isn't he? Blatant attempt at attention seeking if I ever saw one!

looneytune · 22/06/2007 18:07

I PROMISE that I'm normally a very calm and nice person and hardly ever want to get involved in fights - too shy and all that (ask the others who've known me on here for the past 2 years or so.....i really am quite boring!)

I just felt so sorry for forces wives as he was WELL out of order!!! I also wanted to understand what on earth he's on about?!

Anyway, I've said my bit and he clearly doesn't give a monkeys what anyone thinks - probably just bored and wanting to stir up crap!!

Right, I'm done for the day. Mindee 1 left at 5 (an hour early ) and mindee 2 just left so THAT'S IT TIL 11th JULY!!!! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEE

madge7 · 22/06/2007 18:25

Have a fab holiday Looney!!

looneytune · 22/06/2007 18:26

Thanks Madge, spending the weekend shopping for clothes, packing etc - yes, very behind!! Please tell me I'm not scary! I'm worried now that I've come across as some nutter!!!

madge7 · 22/06/2007 18:45

No, you loon!! Everyone (as he think he clearly is) is entitled to an opinion........... we know your cool, dont worry bout it!!

Enjoy the sunshine!!

mumlove · 22/06/2007 18:59

Have a wonderful holiday looney and family.

looneytune · 22/06/2007 19:00

Shoshable - oh good, I just wanted someone who was NOT a forces wife to get their point across as I think he thought you lot only felt because you are forces wives yourself.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy chatting in your section, why shouldn't you be able to

looneytune · 22/06/2007 19:00

Thanks mumlove

MaureenMLove · 22/06/2007 19:06

Don't panic, I'm quite scary when really hacked off too! I did wonder if this person was aware that we all relatives of murderers, as I'm sure most of us had grand parents or great grandparents in WW2! Silly sod!
Just imagine how upset you'd have been if the OFSTED hadn't gone well! When are you off and where, please?

crace · 22/06/2007 19:08

LT sorry, wish I knew but an hourly rate seems appropriate and I would do a £5 for unsociable hours as listed in my contract, particularly as a 4 month old will be getting up probably through the night and you will be vigilant..

HTH and have an awesome holiday, trying not to hate you!

looneytune · 22/06/2007 19:14

MML - exactly!! He's an idiot! I'm off on Monday for 2 weeks in Majorca and can't wait!

Crace - thanks and please try not to hate me - it is 11 years since I sunbathed on a beach and after some of the things me and my family have been through over the years, very much deserved I think But I know what you mean, I always hated everone talking about their annual holidays!! xx

Shoshable · 22/06/2007 19:15

Nice. Wish I was going, its lovely there. I'm going to Chez Back Garden this year , but I will have a wonderful looking extension on my house by the end of the summer

MaureenMLove · 22/06/2007 19:19

My dh is working tomorrow too, he's gotta leave a 7.30, so I'll be up and busy early. Get all my jobs done by 10'ish and sit, sit, sit!

crace · 22/06/2007 21:03

What is this, husbands away weekend? Mine on stag do as of right now and not seeing hide nor hair of him until Weds after work conference. No rest for me, young one keeps me just as busy as if working, more work if anything as the mindees entertain her!

saltire · 22/06/2007 22:40

shosha, what books have you got? I have
the Last King of scotland
The Interpretation of murder
and a Patricia Cornwell one called All that remains, which i picked up in a charity shop for 50p.
Dh finishes at 12 on a Friday so is home by 12.30, this is obviosuly some Naval thing, because let's be honest, the RAF work till, ooh at least 3 on a Friday. I can tell I will have hime locked away if I have to put up with him at home every Friday, it was horrendous having him home from 17th May until the 11th June!

vixma · 22/06/2007 22:48

I love my job....I sleep well...cool

Shoshable · 22/06/2007 23:04

Saltire reading The Blue Zone by Andrew Gross, and got a Kathy Riechs to start, but cant remember what it is called, what was The LAst King Of Scotland like (I can remeber seeing that statement from Idi Amin as a headline in the papers)

Dh is home random times through the how season, workd evry weekend and can be away from a Day to 3 weeks at a go, having days of in the week. Training is from early Feb til late March away in cornwall, and at the end of the season they go to SA for most of October, then selection for the new team, then leave for 6WEEKS, you seee all the wives breathe a sigh of relief the day they go away again,
