Looks good. Having the pics really adds to it, though from the look of it some may be rather large filesize - so make sure they are resized to fit the webpage, thus then faster loading.
Google for 'IrfanView'. It is free easy to use image software if you don't have other software to resize images.

FireFox does not display page Titles. Have you titled each page? In the META section of the HTML code, add A descriptive page title of say 4 to 6 words for each page to help identify the page. This helps with search engine listing, as well as helping humans know what page they are reading.

If your website is anything like mine, it will evolve over time... I'm always changing mine!

nally · 20/03/2007 23:21

Looks good. Does anyone mind having a look at mine? Sorry to hijack....

SHOSHAlee · 21/03/2007 06:44

They are both great I am building mine at the moment!

Did you have to get permission for using the mindees pictures or did you already have it? I use the ncma photo permission forms but had put a line through internet use so will have to request it again.

What are the reactions from current mindees parents about your websites? The kids look they are having a great time by the way!

SHOSHAlee · 21/03/2007 08:52

Most of the photos on my website are the child of the dad that built my website, so that got ne out of that ome, but yes got a permission form for website use.

smeeinit · 21/03/2007 12:10

It's lovely, love the pics! :-)
Just a thought but how about a nice pic of you, maybe with mindees? Only thought I'd mention as lots of parents have commented on how nice it was to read & see something about me before meeting me. 2 decided they were definitely going to use me just from my website and that the meeting was more a formality. One of them is someone who's coming on Friday

Anyway, it's lovely

looneytune · 21/03/2007 13:29

IMO, a photo is a photo. I have picks of my mindees in sun suits and never thought of it being a problem. Would be interested in other people views on this though but my parents have always been fine.

Here's mine in case it helps you know what I mean (pic out of date though)

Helen's Little Angels

nally · 21/03/2007 14:55

littlelapin - I actually did it all myself, but nice of you to think so .

looneytune - i was going to put pics of me on there too, but in fact there aren't any, as I am the one always taking the pics! Will have to get my assistant to have an afternoon off to snap me in action - lol.

As for permission forms, I have signatures for all of them, so although the parents haven't seen the website yet (only finished it a couple of days ago and, in fact, I am sure I will be tweaking it constantly, as I am mad about accuracy!) hopefully they will all be ok with it.

SHOSHAlee · 21/03/2007 15:05

Just had a call from somebody who has seen website (a old client I sent it to last night showed it to her) she really really wanted to place her 7 month old with me from July, and I don't have a space!!!!!!!!aaaggggggg , I wont have a space till January a somebody came about my April space last week, although they haven't signed the contracts yet, suppose to be coming om Monday to do it. Promised lady today if it doesnt pan out I will let her know. She even offered over the odds!

It was lovely that I got a recommendation from a old client and that she loved the website.
