Help please. We are looking at employing a nanny for our 3 year old who is starting pre school. We need a nanny for the hour pre school and 2.5hrs after school, The school is approx 15-30 mins travel time using public transport from home - do we have to pay the nanny for the half hour travel time each way after dropping daughter and to go pick up daughter (I.e. do we have to pay 1.5hrs in the morning and 3hrs in the afternoon)?
Also a question about paid holiday. If she is working for just 3.5-4.5 hours a day monday to friday most of the year (I.e. term time) but working a full 10.5hrs a day during school holidays - how many hours per day do you pay them by law for their paid holiday?
