"Note: Please bear in mind that this is a discussion board, not a place to advertise childcare vacancies or recruit childminders/nannies etc."

So would you like us to discuss your ad?

Lots of people seem to do this- I think MN should allow it, tbh. No harm. It's allowed on Netmums

nannynick · 05/11/2010 17:34

It is permitted in Mumsnet Local and we have a thread on here called Nannies Looking For Work which the OP has now posted on - and has remembered to include some geographic info.

Netmums permits it on the dedicated childcare board for that particular local area... it isn't permitted on the general Childcare discussion board. So that isn't all that much different from Mumsnet suggesting that such ads go on Mumsnet Local.

Suppose the problem is that Mumsnet Local isn't used that much... or at least in my area it does not seem to be used that much.
