I'm almost a week overdue been having crampy back pains not majorly painfull but fairlyfrequent. I've been having quite a bit of clear discharge the last few days but earlier it was a little pink and just it was a bit bloody. Is this normal? I can't remember from last time, I've got a midwife apt in an hour but I don't like seeing the blood there makes me worry. I'm guessing it could be a show?

On edge I don't feel very dialated. I'm not having any pain down there yet. When I had the show it felt uncomfortable but that's gone.

Thanks Starlight, i knew there was a theory about the book in the loo, but couldn't remember who said it before

Mmmmm - my sympathies, sounds like a long slow one, sure things are progressing internally though.

Yay, I was right. Well done you and congratulations!

'Also, don't be fooled if you ever get a check and appear to have not dilated much. This work IS having an impact and will quite possibly mean you dilate from 3-10 in minutes.

The hard work at this stage usually means a fairly swift difficult part.'

Congratulations on your new bundle of joy x
