How long after show did you go into labour??

I'm all new to Mumsnet! Due on 20th May,(38+5) and honestly am about to go mental I am so ready for this baby to come out. Been feeling 'different' (if anyone gets what I'm talking about!) for a week or so, but baby been engaged for ages, and then Sunday had a show, which has been going on for 2 days - lovely! Just wondered how long people were before they actually had their babies? Honestly feels like its taking FOREVERRRRRR!!!

I had a show and still didnt go into labour, sorry

I had a show at about 5pm on my due date...no pains, nothing just came out in the toilet. Went into Labour at about 9pm that night and waters didnt break till 3:07am, had DD at 3:14am

Show Thursday morning (while doing my perineal massage).
Waters broke pretty much bang on dot of midnight Friday night, and straight into labour.
Was hoping for one last baby-free weekend. Oh well!

I had a show and went into labour later the next day. Will be interested to see if similar happens this time (am 38 weeks too).

DD was fully engaged at 34 weeks, went into latent labour at 38 weeks and had a clear and blood streaked show 12 days before she was born. Sorry about that...hope it's more imminent for you!

Eh,had show about 37/39 weeks with both mine,and was induced at 40 plus 10 with both! You have my sympathy all nearly due Ladies,I hades that feeling of just waiting....hurry up!

I did not get a "show". My mucus plug went while I was in labour - I was in the bath at the time and we didn't realise; husband panicked as the water went bright red wtih blood.

Thank you so much ladies for helping me through that time of waiting and wondering!! Had my little girl finally Fri 14th, show on sun/mon started labouring Thursday 1.30am, baby born 2.36pm Fri - 38 hour labour. Nightmare. But totally worth it! Exhausted but smitten

Can some one help please? I had a show with my 1st about a week before going in labour i am pregnant 30+4 with my second and had a show today i have had pains the last few days but nothing major and baby in engaged..... Please help im worried :-/ xx

hi kim for the past week i have been loosing my plug in bits some is just clear some bits are blood streaked and im only 23 weeks, this is my 2nd too, if i was you id give your labour suit a call and see what they say they will prob check you out to see if your cervix is starting to dilate, and if you are then they will give you a steriod injection for your babys lungs. good luck xx
