I dont want to give birth again. My baby is too big, and now mw says its got a big head, I cant find anything anywhere about the size of ds's head.

Im scared it will get stuck
Im scared theres something wrong with the baby
Im scared of everything changing
Im scared of someone making a cock up and me being damaged forever
Im scared of dying

Generally just terrified of the whole thing, I should be excited but Im not, its ruining what should be a special last weekend with the dc's and Ive done nothing with them yet, we are supposed to go out for dinner tonight, it feels like the last supper instead of something nice.

Dear god how pathetic do I sound?? Sorry

I have a friend whose wife is just 4ft 11 inches. He's 6'2 plus. She's had 2 babies with no problems so please don't get yourself worry about it. You'll be fine.

thanks for all your posts.

I was induced on monday, and am still waiting for babymosschops to appear. They have had a last ditch attempt this morning but if it doesnt happen today then it will be a section anyway.
Gutted though as since Ive been in both midwife and consultant have said 'ooh little baby then' with apparently 'tiny leetle shoulders'

Good luck, hope it all goes well!

2 days since induction, you must just want it to all be over by now.....at least you've got Mumsnet to keep you amused!!!

oooh, hope babymosschops is out by now - hope it all went well!

I had the first part of my induction on a Sunday night - took DS until 2am on the Tuesday to finally let go! Babymosschops don't wanna come out!

Mosschops...i had all the same comments about my ds (elective section) and he was born at 38 wks weighing in at 9lb 6oz but....

All you have to remember, and this is coming from someone who had a 3rd degree tear first time around, is to breathe that head out, seriously. I had a third degree tear because the mw didn't tell me to pant so i pushed with huge force and dd came out in one go. (8lb 13oz)

Also you know what? my tear was NOTHING compared to the c-section i had. It really was not that bad, i was up and about and i healed really well.

You will be fine, just remember breathe the head.
