Just checking in, glad you aren't feeling rough today

and i def need some maternity style advice from you next time i'm pg!

princessmel · 16/10/2009 15:26

Spoke too soon, felt rough all afternoon. So uncomfy and heavy like my bump could slpit open under my tummy button, ouch!
Took dd to a party and had to sit on hard chairs in a soft play place. Was nice to see my friends there though...

Got a lot of 'ooh you must be due soon' comments

lol at 'advice' buffy!

Yey - glad PrincessMel is feeling rough - maybe another weekend of labour pains???

LilRedWG · 16/10/2009 17:08

Have been following, but this is my first post.

First: you look fab - better than I do not pregnant . I definitely need you as my stylist.

Second: Good luck with this baby, should it every decide to grace us with its presence.

OnlyWantsOneFartleBerry · 16/10/2009 19:01

just checking in hope you're ok this evening.

Sending baby vibes your way.

PS, we won't loose interest, as long as there is the promise of a live labour thread

nappyzonecantrunfortoffee · 16/10/2009 19:17

oooo that was all v exciting - nice pics.... hows today?

lonelyoldmadmoodluminchat · 16/10/2009 19:22

Agree with other posters. Pls can you have this baby tonight, quickly, and online, as I'm off line until Monday, so will be lost without a live birth thread to attend to

nappyzonecantrunfortoffee · 16/10/2009 19:28

there are a few potentials for this weekend - can you all lump in one thread so i dont have to hop all over...... although second thoughts you deserve your own,

madmissy · 16/10/2009 19:33

i reckon they will all come at once lol

aWitchForLifeNotJustHalloween · 16/10/2009 21:04

oh lordy. you still here? more curry, woman

princessmel · 16/10/2009 22:03

Still here....!

Funny you should say that as I had a curry for dinner tonight. I hope it works

Thanks for all the good luck vibes and thoughts.

Am having BH tonight, I'd love it if they turned into the real thing. Pressure, pressure, pressure down below too. Surely the sac of waters can't hold out much longer?????

aWitchForLifeNotJustHalloween · 16/10/2009 22:09

surely not.... nice easy labour vibes coming your way

suwoo · 16/10/2009 22:32

Thinking of you...........sending speedy vibes x

Meglet · 16/10/2009 22:49

I keep checking this thread.. and still no baby! Good luck when it finally happens.

suzi2 · 16/10/2009 23:23

Oh you poor thing. I did a big 'false' labour for a few days with my DS and it was exhausting. With my DD the false labour was only a day or two but rather than the pain, it was the pressure that got to me. Unfortunately, waters didn't go and were popped by the MW when I was 10cm dilated for ages. She pretty much flew out though!

Good luck, hope it's swift when it happens :-D

largeginandtonic · 17/10/2009 09:51

Princess Mel you poor love.

You must be mega fed up. It will all be worth it in the end

The weekend is a good time to have a baby, all relaxed and plenty of poeple around to help with the other children.

Glass of wine and a good comedy.

princessmel · 17/10/2009 11:07

No news AGAIN!!!!

Yawn yawn yawn.

In between wee's I slept quite well last night though, so that's good I'm trying to positive!

I am having loads of dishcharge/stuff today,(well I do every day) I just hope that it's all coming out because the baby is working down so low that it's pushing it all out!!!

suzi2 · 17/10/2009 13:11

Try some kerb walking to rock him/her down a bit. One foot on kerb, one on the road. I think it helped with mine.

Hope it kicks off soon.

JustBeBuffy · 17/10/2009 13:15

Or up and down the stairs sideways?

princessmel · 17/10/2009 14:30

I have no energy to do kerb walking or go up and down the stairs. I tidied the upstairs of my house and felt exhausted after that.

I feel grumpy today and am snapping at everything. Every bit of mess is driving me mad.
The kids must think I am a monster.
Plus I have a tracksuit on and look atrocious(sp)

My sister has popped in and the kids are playing with her, thats nice for them. x

Waiiiiiilllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need curry and then rhubarb and custard.

Come on baby!

PlumBumMum · 17/10/2009 15:15

hey there princessmel, just came over to offer you a big slice of chocolate cake and then there will be no room for baby and cake

JustBeBuffy · 17/10/2009 15:24

Irritability meant to be a sign of imminent labour for some people...

princessmel · 17/10/2009 16:16

Thanks for the cake

I hope so Buffy.

I am fed up. This is so silly though because I am glad to be pregnant and I know I can't do anything to make baby come sooner ,I just feel low and grouchy. I'm not even due yet! And dd and ds were late...but because of all the early signs I really thought it would happen all by itself. I am going to be induced aren't I?

I could bounce on the ball but that makes me so uncomfy. And makes my SPD hurt more.
Dh has taken the kids out on their bikes for a bit. I'm watching 'Nothing to Declare' on Living.

madmissy · 17/10/2009 16:25

could you not do the dirty later? might make things get going? lol
