Sex after birth - How long did you wait? (Maybe tmi!)

Sorry if tmi but dd is now 3 months old and I still havent done the deed!

My dp is very patient - Didnt have sex all through pregnancy due to various problems and it is a year ago today that we concieved dd.

I am sh!tting myself about doing it. My bits dont feel right after giving birth and I am worried that it is really going to hurt.

How long did you leave it? Does it hurt? Any tips for making it easier?

I'm still waiting...ds is 4. I think I will have forgotten how to do it.

6 weeks, bad tear, pretty uncomfortable but not too painful.

dd, 8 weeks. had a couple of labial stitches but nothing too serious. was not unpleasant although a bit too dry for real pleasure

ds, 3 months, not for lack of wanting it but we had ds in our room and dd in the only other bedroom and i didn't want to do it on the cold leather couch or tile floor. picked up an air matress in lidl though and went for it that night. was fine as well although condoms were an unpleasant intrusion after years of bareback

6 months with DS1, about 3 months with DS2 I think
