Apparently I shouted at the midwife "get your f**king fingers out of me"

LOL at these! During what I now realise was transition, but at the time thought was early labour, I demanded that my husband go and fetch an anaesthetist. When he came back, he said 'someone's just coming' - and then the care assistant came in and asked me 'Would you like a sandwich?' to which I graciously replied 'No I don't want a f'ing sandwich, I want a f'ing epidural!!'

And 15 minutes later DD was born. I never did get that sandwich......
