Were any of you or your dc born on EDD?

My ds was born on his expected date of delivery. Any more taker's?

both my older two were born 2 days over their EDD, on the same date.

My neighbour and good friend had same EDD for our DS2s (very weird, think it must be the water). It was 24th April (today). She had her DS2 on the day, mine was 5 days late.

dd1 40+1
dd2 40+1
dd3 40+1 (by my dates) 39+4 (by scan dates)

if i ever (very unlikely) have another baby i shall be putting money on it being born at 40+1

DD born on EDD
DS born the day before. Or to be precise 1 hour and 16 minutes before!

DS1 was 10 days early
DS2 was born on his due date - but I have always said this is because our nanny at the time called in the evening 2 days before the due date to say she was too sick to come in the next day. My kind-of twinges stopped for 24 hours till she rang to say she would be working the next day; twinges started again and I was in labour properly at the time of day when there was someone around to look after DS1. Our antenatal teacher had a theory that babies were born at night because mums knew the older siblings were asleep and safe, so she could relax and get on with the pushing.

Dd was a week early.

Went into labour at 1.30 am day after EDD so my date was pretty accurate.

DD born 2 weeks early - induced due to pre eclampsia, she was 5lb 10

DS born on EDD (after me being in hospital for 3 days and induced 3 times ) he weighed exactly a pound heavier at 6lb 10!!!

My DH's cousin had her baby on her EDD, I'm hoping it runs in the family!!

the other two were early [not-so-smug] DC3 by three and a bit weeks.
