How long were your labours?

Baby 1 - 33 hours
Baby 2 - 6 hours

Baby 1 forever 😄 (induction Sunday - contractions started. Baby finally yanked out with forceps on the Weds night!!)

Baby 2 - 4 hours from beginning to end.

Baby 1 was premature I went into hospital with bleeding and contractions on the Monday, the bleeding stopped but the contractions remained every 10 minutes until the Friday morning. Active labour was about 6 hours. With my second 3 hours.

Not sure, because apparently early labour doesn't count as actual labour.

Counting early labour though, baby 1 was 29 hours, and baby 2 was 12 hours.

Baby 1 - 26 hours
Baby 2 - 5 hours
Baby 3 - 5 hours
Baby 4 - 3 hours

DH wants one more, I'm scared that it will be really quick, and he will have to deliver it lol

1 - 12 hours but was induced to speed things up.
2 - active labour was 1hr 😳
Due no3 in October and definitely opting for a homebirth this time!

About 30 hours. Midwife had to break waters, ds wasn't in right position so tried forceps, then ended in emergency c section.

1 - 49hours
2 - 2 and half hours
3 - 3 hours 20 minutes
4 - 6 hours

1 - 5h of really painful contractions minutes apart from the beginning
2- 7h only half of it was really sore then she basically fell out

1 - 7 hours
2 - 22 minutes
3 - 36 hours
4 - CS

My first contraction started at 9am on the Saturday, and I was admitted to hospital at 11pm on the Sunday, 5cm dilated. Gave birth at 3am on the Monday morning.

So either 36 hours or four hours, depending on what you're classing as labour.

63 hours. Still only 3cm dilated and baby becoming distressed, I had got an infection, so ended in a c section.

Both were about 20 hours long!! Everyone else in the world seems to have a very quick second labour. Not me.

Baby 1 - 4.5 days, then Emergency C-Section.

Baby 2 - 33 hours, Stillborn.

Baby 3 - Elective C-Section.

Baby 4 - Elective C-Section.

4hrs 59mins, first baby.

Had my waters broken as was already 3cms on the day of induction, and contractions started 4:10 straight away.

12 hours from cold - induction
3 hours from mucas plug - natural

Second was great. Back home within 8 hours.

3 babies...2.5ish hours each one.

1 - 16 hours (spontaneous)
2 - 8 hours (induced)
20 min pushing stage each time

47 hours, before ending in an EMCS.

Baby 1 - Induction started 10am Friday, baby arrived 4pm Saturday
Baby 2 - Went into labour around 10pm Tuesday, baby arrived 2am Wednesday
Baby 3 - Induction started 4pm Friday, baby arrived 3am Tuesday.

I am saying labour from first twinge kind of thing.

I should have specified that my first labour ended in a cat 1 emcs after 2 hours of pushing. My second was a cat 2 emcs. I was at 9cm and very close to giving birth and I panicked and requested a section! If I'd have let nature take its course like my body was trying to, it'd have been 4 hours.

Several children. Longest 24 hrs. Shortest three contractions.

Baby 1 4 days
Baby 2 4 hours

Dc1- 7 hours.
Dc2- 3 hours.

Fifth. Induced because three weeks late. Nothing happened after sweep, pessaries, rupture of membranes, drip…then they turned up the drip, and one, two, three and he shot across the delivery room like a bullet from a gun.
