C section today, handhold please...hardly slept am so anxious but cant wait to meet my baby girl xx

You'll be absolutely fine 🙂 Post on here afterwards to say how it went -- you'll be gushing about how smooth and easy it was, I bet you. Just think, about ten minutes into the op, you meet your baby! How quick is that?!! C sections are awesome. Good luck x

I had an emergency c section 5 weeks today. I have heard the planned is si much easier than the emergency. I am now starting to feel back to normal and enjoying my little boy. All my other children were vaginal deliveries, c section is so different but I knew it was for the best!

When I had mine, the staff were absolutely amazing. They made it such a relaxing experience and any worries just disappeared. I hope all goes well and ypu see your baby very soon

What an exciting day! I had a c section and it was all grand. The recovery was so much better than I had read and expected. Best of luck.

I had an emergency c section, so not so calm but it got my boy here. I was up and walking about slowly and carefully the next day and started taking him out for walks on day 5. I found the more I moved the quicker I healed. One tip is after showing or bathing dab the cut with tissue so it drys properly and water doesn't sit there and smell.

Eek good luck!! ELCS will be very different to your emergency one - I’ve had 2 electives and they were so calm and controlled and happy!! Good luck!

I was only looking at photos of my ELCS yesterday, it was such a beautiful day. Don’t be nervous, it will be a totally different experience. Keep on top of your pain meds and enjoy meeting your new baby! So exciting!!

I was you 8 weeks ago I was so nervous I thought about doing a runner! But it ended up being so much nicer than a vaginal birth for me, no drama, nice and calm! it's over so quickly! you will be holding your baby before you know it! Good luck
