Am nearly 34 weeks but have a history of premature labours, so looks like things might be happening here. Scared now. My back is contantly aching and having contractions every 10 minutes. Going to have a bath and hope it eases off

SGK, lovely though it is to get updates from you... WHY aren't you on your way to hospital yet?!

sparklygothkat · 25/09/2007 13:11

Oh yes, I remember that

Its just to throw you off the scent, lol.

WinnieThePooh · 25/09/2007 13:19

It is all happening in your family at the moment.

Peters transplant
Lisa's baby
and now yours.

I hope you have an "easy" delivery.

I look forward to reading your birth announcement

Good luck SGK. I don't know if you breast feed, but it is a good thing for your newborn as it helps stabilise their blood sugar level.

Oh, and stay away from the glucose tablets.

Will be waiting for the ba!

mears · 25/09/2007 14:09

Am I the only one hoping you are not in labour? Hurry up and get seen - you never know a course of antibiotics for a UTI may stop these contractions, even though you have had a show.

Piggy · 25/09/2007 14:10

I'm with mears on this one. I know you've had preemies before sparkly but if you can delay this then so much the better. I wish I'd seen a doctor about my UTI when I was 35 weeks with ds2. I didn't and he was a preemie.

Good luck.

LadyVictoriaOfCake · 25/09/2007 14:52

i hope you arent in labour sis. i know you wanted to get further this time, and you have, but not as far as you would like i know.

sparkly cant take those drugs that stop labvour as she reacts badly to them. hopefully its just another false alarm and you can hang on for another two weeks minimum.

lulumama · 25/09/2007 14:53

agree with mears

i had a show a week before DD arrived, so this might not be it

fingers crossed anyway that all is well
