Any petite ladies

Hi all,

So something that actually pissed me off today ! Me and hubby went round to see the mother and father in law. I’m currently 30 weeks so the topic of discussion was all about baby. Then my mother in law comes out with I think because your small you will have to have a c section! I just replied well my nan did it 4 time, my mother did it 5 times and my two sisters have done it once. She said what c sections! I said no natural births !!! Urhhh !!! I’m still angry now. All women in my family are 5’2 and under and they have been fine. I get yes I may have to have a c section but it’s the whole because your small thing that gets me.

Any other shorties out there who have given birth no problems? And what were your babies weights ?

5ft 1 and I've had two natural deliveries. Both were incredibly quick at the pushing stage (and I barely made it to the hospital on time with DC2). Weights were 6lb 1 and 7lb 1.

Ridiculous!!! I'm 5 foot 1 and birthed my 7 pound 10 baby with only gas and air, take absolutely no notice!!!! And good luck to you xx
