I had an Elle tens machine. I loved it, it really helped me a lot.

I had that machine, it got me through my labour. I only went up to level 5 as past that it was more painful than the contraction. I can’t recommend them enough.

I had that one and found it useful although didn't get beyond 3 before he was born as I wanted to save the higher levels until the pain got really bad. Mine then went on a journey around our NCT group and it seems the earlier you start using it (in terms of labou) the more effective it is. I think it means don't try it out when you're not in labour before 37 weeks as opposed to "don't use it if you are in labour before 37 weeks" - my labour started at 36+6 and we ended up reading the instructions and finding out how to use it during the contractions whereas if we'd had the chance to test it before the real deal (I think it said you could test on your arms?) then we would have been far more prepared! I imagine the only reason it says not before 37 weeks is incase it brings on labour and baby isn't ready whereas once you get to 37+0 you're classed as full term, so mine came a couple of hours into that classification.

Ok have a few more weeks until I can test it on my arms then

I had that one and I used it from the onset of labour until I got to hospital. At that point I went in the pool and never got out! I found it helped in the earlier stage of labour and allowed me to doze in bed a bit longer (labour started at 1am). I will be using it again this time round.

I just hope this one don't come in middle of night like my son. And follow her sisters and start labour during day so not alone and get some sleep after I have baby at night
