How long were you in hospital?

Obviously all births are different, and not everyone even goes to a hospital, but there was no snappier way of writing that in the title!

Just curious, really. I'm 35+4, have only one week left at work, and am starting to think about the realities of what's about to happen.

So yeah, my question is; how long did you spend in hospital/maternity unit if any time at all, before and after your birth(s)?

Thanks!

Went into labour at about 2pm on Saturday, went to hospital at 8pm on Sunday. DD born around 8am on Monday morning. Stayed on labour ward in room I had given birth in for 12 hours for monitoring after complicated forceps birth and losing a lot of blood then moved to postnatal ward. In for 3 nights, went home on Thursday night.

I would have been able to go home a lot sooner had it not been for the blood loss.
