Are you on your own, or is your dp/dh/birthing partner with you? Why are you getting induced? Have you got some yummy food and drink with you, and comfy clothes? Maybe some music or DVDs? Best of luck!

How are you feeling?

DH is with me :) I'm being induced because I had issues withy last baby as she was big, and this one is also growing larger than they'd like.

They want me to eat (I'm in the US so it's breakfast here) and have brought me yogurt and a banana. I just want ice, though.

Have pitocin hooked up. It's all real now...

Have you had the epidural yet?

I'm 40+2 myself and had an induction with DC1 - it was wonderful :) Best of luck for a swift and enjoyable delivery!

I had an induction with my second and it was a pretty good experience apart from the fire alarm evacuation in the middle. I hope all goes well.

Your room is lovely. The rooms in our local hospital are so small, you can lean on one wall and bash your bump on the other. I may be exaggerating slightly. There seem to be a lot of differences across the pond. You get a television too. We only get a slightly alarmed window cleaner. Poor bugger.
