"Is this the first live childbirth thread?"

There speaks a person who didn't survive nickel's epic birthing saga. Grin I still have the scars.

There have been some lovely live childbirth threads. One featured a snowed in birthing mother. It was wonderful.

My phone died! Arghg!

William Oliver was born at 3:45 this afternoon, so almost 10 pm your time. He weighs 8 lbs 7 oz and is 21 inches long. The smallest of my three, but took the longest to arrive! He was most reluctant to join us and needed the vacuum eventually. (Venthouse, do you say?)

He is so lovely, with black hair like DD was born with. I will get a good picture and post it tomorrow...I find myself a bit sleepy for some reason Wink
