Overdue with baby one, when did baby two arrive?

I'm hanging in there now at 39 weeks. My first was 11 days late, wondering if my second is likely to be similar. What was your experience?

My first was 8 days late and second 13. Not what you wanted to hear, sorry! Good luck :)

Dc1 arrived at 42 +5 (induced). Dc2 quite unexpectedly arrived on the EDD!

dd2 was 8 days late
dd3 was 3 days late (so felt like a week early....!)
ds (#4) was 10 days late

dd2's birth was the best of the lot though :) hope you're not waiting too much longer

Had DS1 T+15, DS2 31 weeks which I would not recommend all things being equal… DS3 T+10, DS4 T+0

Noooo! Don't let me go 16 days over! Hope for a due date baby!!

Second 4 days early

Just to add I am also another who's second labour and birth was the easiest of the four.

Baby 1 - 10 days late, baby 2 - 4 weeks early (was a bit of a shock!). There's no rule

My first was two weeks late and I was induced. Second was two weeks early.

Sorry all five of mine were overdue.

Ds1 10 days

Ds2 14 days

Ds3 18 or 21 days depending on dates.

Ds4 15 days

Dd 11 days. Was induced with all five.

DC1 4 days late
DC2 a week early (so you could be in labour tomorrow morning! :))

DS1 1 week - when he was induced and then when he came out they said he was early as still covered in vernix

DS2 2 weeks - easiest birth of the lot

DS3 3 weeks - fortunately had a lovely midwife who after hearing about the DS1 debarkle changed the dates on my forms so he only looked 2 weeks late and I was still allowed to have him at the midwife led centre.

It seems my body takes exactly 11 days more than average to grow a baby.

My body was really ready to go into labour but I think my babies were a little over cooked, they had no vernix at all and really dry flaky skin, they were also both huge, they liked like they were 3 months overdue.

This terribly scientific study suggests number two is more likely a bit earlier hooray! And that my labour will be super easy! Thanks mumsnet!

Dd was 12 days overdue

Ds was born on his due date

DC1 was 9 days late
DC2 was 10 days early!

Both exactly same weight. I only bought maternity pads etc on the day I went into labour!
