Is it true 2nd babies are usually earlier than the first?

What's the case for you?

Yes for me. Ds1 arrived at 42+5 and ds2 on his EDD!

Mine was

But third was later than both!

Dc1 5 days early
Dc2 11 days early
Dc3 3 days early

Mine was. DS1 arrived on EDD. DS2 born this week was 2 days early

Not for me. DS born at 38+3 and DD born at 40+4

Dc1 at 37 weeks and dc2 at 40+5. That was a long 3 weeks!!

Nah, dc1 was 38 weeks, dc 2 was 39 weeks

38, 39+2 and 41. Grr!

40+8!with DS2

Not for me. DD1 was 40+4, DD2 40+5.

Both 9 days late for me.

Not for me, DD1 was almost 4 weeks early and DD2 had to be evicted at 2 weeks overdue.

There was a big difference in weights too with dd2 being more than double the size of dd1.

Currently 39+6 with DC3

Can't say the 24 hours made all the difference...

DD1 was born at 40+1 and DD2 was born at 39+3 so I guess it was the case for me, although by my original date DD2 was due on the 20th and the sonographer put me at the 26th. I felt as if I was overdue (contracting for weeks and massively uncomfortable) so I felt like my date was correct and really she was 40+2! :o
