Anyone else worried about going into labour during this weather? Any advice on delivering snow babies? : /

You need to take a read of the thread from last year(?) where a Mnetter was stuck in the back of beyond and had the Mountain Rescue deliver a midwife (at least I that's how I think it went)

40 weeks here and not in UK but want to say am sure it will be OK. Are you in a rural area?

lchats · 04/02/2012 22:24

Yikes! So camp out at the hospital carpark then?

In fact here it is - reading it might take your mind of things (or not!)

Good Luck (you will be fine)

Not rural so could be worse!

I went into labout last year in December but thankfully was quite near to the hospital. How near are you and what are the main roads like?

I definitely went in too early as I was worried, and wish I hadn't.

good luck.

About 20 mins roads should be okay, but like you say it's that balance of going too early and leaving too late : /

My friend went into labour and when she sent for an ambulance a land rover ambulance turned up Grin
