Anyone Due Today?

I am....not that the baby seems to have realised that. Actually, maybe this should have gone in Pregnancy...putting it in Childbirth may well be tempting fate for it to avoid said childbirth for another fortnight.

So, as the title says, anyone else due today? What are you up to, have you had any signs of impending motherhood?

Well my little pudding finally arrived on Christmas eve at half eight in the morning. Gorgeous wee girl 8lb 9oz (I was 41 +6)
I went in for induction on 23rd with pessary (if that didn't work the next day they would try to ARM me, and then potentially onto the drip). Given the fact pessary inductions aren't always successful I was pleased when pains started at 1pm that day. By 8pm cxns were coming thick and fast but was told not to get my hopes up! Examined at 9.30 and told I was 4cm and sent to labour ward. I didn't think I could have a waterbirth because of being induced so was over the moon when they said I could have one! Got in the water at 1.30am christmas eve morning and she was here at 8.30am! I couldn't believe how incredibly lucky I was and although the whole experience was a lot sorer than I expected I count my blessings and think the experience overall was very positive.

DD2 arrived at 4am christmas morning, at home to the lights of the christmas tree. She was 7lb14oz and is already 8lb5!

The sweep christmas eve started it all off, shame it wasn't till late in the afternoon rather than the morning as planned, she might have arrived christmas eve.

She is the best christmas present I could ever want and DS and DD1 adore her. She's the most relaxed content baby you could ever imagine :)
