Second Baby - Early or Late?

Hi - there are lots of threads on second labours -seems the unanimous comments are that the second labours are easier and shorter than first ones. There doesn't seem to be any threads on whether the second baby came early or late or on-time? I'm hoping my second will be late, but was wondering if that's unlikely with the second baby.

My dd (1st) was 4 days early
My ds (2nd) was almost 2 weeks early

Mind you I am very glad they were so early as they were 9lb12 and 9lb3 respectively, and I hope this one is going to be early too!!!

Is Elliott around? She did a fabulous job compiling all of our due dates and typing them in on 2 separate threads Any statisticians or researchers out there?

1st - Born on Due Date (6 hour labour)
2nd -Born on Due Date (1 hour labour)

Ok - since I started this, here's a brief summary of what we have so far. I'm sure my numbers will be different from others who care to count. I am not including 3rd or 4th, etc children - only 1st and 2nd. Also, I am not including any numbers for those who were induced. Here's the tally:

early 1st/ early 2nd - 8
late 1st/late 2nd - 12
early or on-time 1st/ late 2nd - 2
late 1st / early or on-time 2nd - 4

Seems like there is something to be said for a 'personal gestational period'

thanks tinyfeet - rather small sample size but I like the odds it gives me - 80% chance of early again!

I'm an odd-one out, don't even feature on the list! Early first (1 week), & I'd call 2nd "on-time" (only 2 days late).

Thanks tinyfeet, I like those odds too. Especially like Dahlia's labour times, can I order one of them please?!
