Grade 1 breast cancer

I have been diagnosed with grade 1 Non specific type breast cancer today with dcis in situ. Lymph nodes clear from ultrasound.

I am massively worried. has anyone had any experience of this?

@ohdoriswheresthesaladdo you know what time you are scheduled for surgery? I went down at 2.30 and woke up in recovery about 5.20pm x

I went in at 12.30 and woke up at 2.30. Home by 6.30.

I was told 12.20 I was going down then just got told 1ish. The other 2 ladies have not returned yet

Going to assume you are there now in surgery x.

Back on ward, all went well apparently. I’ve eaten and drank. Feel ok ish just a bit hangover-ish!

Hopefully you can get into your warm comfy home soon

Well don’t look like it. My BP is one mark off normal and my heart rate is 95 - which it’s been already today 🙄

On way home. Feel ok as I can be. Little sore but nothing as bad as I was imagining. Possibly that’ll be tomorrow!

Morning @LoudSnoringDoghad a very good sleep thank you. Managed a good 8 hours I think.
been pottering round this morning while my partner and daughter have gone to do the food shop, very minimal pain if I’m honest. I’ve had pain killers this morning so possibly why. How are you?

That’s really great to hear, you really needed that rest after all the stress leading up to your op. So glad you are in minimal pain. I think I’ve just been really unlucky with the nerve pain post sentinel node biopsy element of the operation. I’m planning my return to work though for Jan 6th so looking forward to that! Enjoy the rest of your day and keep popping those painkillers !
