Anyone else off this weekend?

We're going with a friend and their dc's, they've never camped before. It all sounded so great, we hope to convert them to the joys of camping, but now the weather forecast isn't great. Am about to starting packing, we set off tomorrow. It's our first trip this year, so I'm trying to remember all the essentials.

I think almost everyone apcks to capacity, whether that be a handbag or trailer. Packing lightly is borne of necessity I think

My camping trip and BH weekend were a disaster.
Rolled up to lovely site on Fri evening, sun shining, all well and good.
Share a big bowl of chilli with friends and drink wine...
Wake up to wind and lashing rain that lasted all day, tried to make the best of it with long walk on the beach, got soaked.
Get back to our cheap Hlafords tent which is in danger of blowing away.
So head home all in jusst over 24 hrs...
And now I have a really bad cold too, so am stuck in bored.

Has not put me off, just made me realise I ned better equipment. So am currently 'watching' A few Outwell Montana's on ebay.
