Very small budget for my tent expenses (well, £200 for the tent - not much for extras!)

Do I NEED a footprint and / or carpet? (for the Outwell carolina 3)

Camp near a stream and tether your ginbottle whilst letting it dangle into the water, works equally well for wine ( and milk if you really must). I bought the footprint in a fit of enthusiasm... my camping gear weighs a ton and I have to take the kids wagon to roll it all to the pitch at a lot of sites. Trying to keep things lightweight but buying special camping things from special camping shops is a bit addictive... don't need any of them really but I get such a buzz out of looking for places to store them for 48 weeks of the year!I would draw the line at the carpet though... it's too 'coordinated'.
I do love my bunting however! ( It's Womad bunting )

Fantastic LF - great news.

Other great news just in.... ....

We have filled the car to the brim, and the roofbox and everything's in!

Except the Dutch Oven.

And the boys are Not Allowed To Grow!

OK chevre, OMDB et al. I got my cups - in time for camping tonight! BUT - be warned if you want some - they are so weeny! They are your proper camping espresso cups. It does actually state the size very clearly but of course I failed to notice it and just assumed they were kind of top-of-thermos size.

They are of course super-cute and I love them (I am an espresso lover and actually they'll be pretty handy for children too) so a-camping they shall come. But will still need to get some full-size beakers or something at some point.
