Help me find a sleeping bag for DS1....please

We need a sleeping bag for DS1 who is 3yo (after the recent Readybed disaster), can anyone please recommend one that isn't too long? Is there a good adjustable type one?

I'm fed of googling and getting grobag type things ....

OK DB you were right about the Vango junior bag - it was the Midi one that we had seen previously that looked too long.

So, anyway the 2 we have discovered are:-

The vango nitestar convertible that DB linked to previously.

And the Outwell Cloud convertible (cheaper)

So, have you made a decision?

I have just bought a Coleman Chestnut Extend Kids Sleeping Bag for 18 month old ds as I was bothered he would be swamped by a full child sleeping bag. Bargain too - £9 reduced from £25!!

Thanks Milli, that one looks really good (and cheap too), but is it warm enough for tent use?

I bought dd a new sleeping bag before we went camping last week so am selling her junior one for £6. Unfortunately you are not near me - I think it would cost a fair bit to post, and with that added you would be just as well buying a new one. Good luck in finding one.

No idea if it is warm enough - not tried it yet!!!

Have shown DH all the options and he likes the look of the Outwell Cloud one best, so I think we will get that one.

that looks like a great choice. I took view that decent junior sleeping bags will do the DC's in a few years time when they are hopefully off on Cubs camp - ours are Vango/Millets veresions of the same thign
