If money was no object, which tent would you buy?

I'm thinking of buying a new tent for this year. Mostly because I'm bored, fed up with having holidays cancelled and have some spare cash.

My criteria are:

  • Easy to take down/put up
  • No canvas. Am open to polycotton
  • Fit 3 people comfortably with room for a 4th sometimes
  • Standing room in the living area
  • Nice looking (totally subjective i know)

I can't really find anything thats prompting me to buy yet. So I'm asking you, if money was no object , what tents would you buy? It doesn't have to fit my criteria. I'm just looking for some random inspiration.

@averythinline ooh! I've been looking at the Robens Fairbanks! A bit worried that it's too big for one person.(Even if I am a 6 footer). How easy is cooking in the vestibule? Does rain come in easily with the door open? Do you feel it can cope with wind? How fast does it dry?

At the moment it's my dream tent.

Inflatable from decathlon. I’d love a Vango but their inflatables are just too big, I’d have no room for anything else in my car! The Decathlon ones look much more manageable in their bags.

Fairbanks is lovely for 1 ...I made ds sleep on his own tent so all mine....on other trips just me n dh whose 6ft...not massive stand up space..but enough i don't cook in the vestibule bit...apart from jetboil for coffee..but can store enough stuff....was fab in storms in Dorset last year so wind not an issue and dries really quick...I love it

Thanks for replying. Not bothered about standing, but would like a proper camping chair. I usually rig a tarp over the front of my tent and spend most of my time under that. I'll hopefully find a place with one set up and check it out in person.
