....to say thank you so much for raving about Nodes Point.

We got back this morning from a week in one of their 'ready tents' and just had the best time.It was utterly blissful. It was the first holiday in years that I 100% did not want to come home.
How good is the food at Baywatch?Never thought I would see ds2 peel prawns and eat fresh, grilled sardines.

Had a lovely family for neighbours,(if you're reading this 'K',it looks like you found me)and have a whole weeks worth of 'happy days' memories for all of us.

I'm going to hunt you down on Facebook now just so I can show you the photos.
Thank you again.
xx

I asked Dh about the facilities Peachy, and he said there was a big bath and a separate Mother/Baby room, which he didn't investigate.Sounds promising though.

As for the resort/clubby side to Nodes, its at the top of the site and you honestly don't need to go near it.The boys didn't go near the kids clubs during the day,too busy on the beach,or playing with the neighbours.

We went up to the bar up couple of times in the evening, and although that kind of thing(Karaoke etc) isn't normally our cup of tea,the boys really enjoyed it.

You'd like Pentewan you know, if you prefer it a bit understated- think the two complement each other well actually.

Thanks for the M&B info- definitely sounds workable then!

Beetroot · 06/08/2007 10:59

Peachy - you must arrange to meet up if you are in Cheddar - i don't know the place but it is 15 mins form me

I used to work at Strode- loved it , Dh was heavily into Galstonbury carnivals for a decade too

Beetroot · 06/08/2007 12:56

I am working at Millfield!

Beetroot · 06/08/2007 12:56

The carnivlas come right past my house - so we have a party!

Peachy · 06/08/2007 13:00

Ah millfield, dh's mate used to be a teacher there pmsl (small county? nah never!)

Dh used to be in Masqueraders, was one of their lighting technicians, so a big glastonbury carnival club! (and as I was raised in bridgwater they're pretty much my birtright LOL)
