Les Valades and plug socket question

Is there anywhere in the loo/shower block to plug in a hairdryer? Don't think the amp will be up to it on pitch?

Ds2 appears to have an ear infection so we are off the water for a bit to see if I cans top it developing into a full blown one!

This campsite looks awesome. We might join you all next year. Do you have 2 overnights on the way? We've been to the vendee the last 2 years - usually have one overnight from Calais.

Yes we're here now, up at the top. I think there's lots of mnetters here!!
Bit gutted about the weather at the moment but we've done a few caves and chateaux whilst it's been cooler. Hoping that's it for the rain and we can get back to the lake.
Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant nearby that offers more than ham and chips for children?

What happened tonight?

HB there was a fire in a tent. They believe it started as a gas canister wasn't on properly and the man went to sort it- thankfully everyone was out/got out and the other campers were amazing- just found extinguishers and were there, but the tent is wrecked and there's not a lot left to salvage.

We're back home now

Hillbilly, sorry we never made it to your pitch. We had a couple of very long days out and ran out of time.
Loved the campsite thank you. Was just disappointed we couldn't have a campfire.

Hmmm interesting about the campfire situation. What we found last year was that we could not buy logs big enough to make a decent fire. A sack we bought from Briccomart was only slightly bigger than kindling :-(
