Dordogne campsite please

Can you recommend one? Ideally with a decent pool and access to a lake/river beach of some sort. Thanks

DCs are asking for slides in the pool as well now. Do any of the above have them?!

Yup

Millimat - they don't mention it but if you email they will confirm. We bought logs from a nearby hardware store. Also means you can have proper bbq on your pitch.

No slides at LV but they have 2 huge inflatables on the lake that you can slide, jump and bounce off. You can probably see them in the pics on their site.

Oh I saw them on the video. Are they there all the time?
(still haven't found bit about campfires...)

Bouncy things in the lake are permanent. Canoes free to use. Lake fabulous for swimming in too.

I emailed les valades and they replied saying you can't have campfires at the pitches but just one is allowed in the meadow area

Ah ok well we had a fire with their blessing last year and you can definitely bbq at your pitch. They do have a weekly fire down by the lake too.

St Avit Loisirs is a cracking site, great pool and facilities.
