I have a specific les Valades question...

I know a number of people on here have been, are going etc so I hope someone will be able to help. I've emailed the campsite twice in the last week and had no response (which is a bit worrying in itself!)

We have hired a fridge from them but we don't have an EHU lead, do we need to take one or is it provided with the fridge we hire? If we do need to take one can somebody point me in the right direction for adapters and so on.

We are staying next month too but haven't had an email (although I think I did request shade/sun mix near pool at booking, can't remember so long ago.) Also hired fridge which we are hoping will keep lots of wine and beer cool-- save us space in the car. We are there 5th-14th I think and driving from Caen but in 2 goes.

We will arrive just after you leave Prof and although it is pricey I think we will hire the fridge-- figure it will save us loads. And I can't bear lukewarm wine!

Fridge definitely essential and it's a proper fridge size so well worth it IMO.

We have rented a fridge but despite having rtft I am no clearer on the ehu! We are ehu novices as we have always made do with a cool box and ice blocks before, so feel we are heading for a life of luxury And DH is panicking about having too much stuff to take so is eager to ditch the coolbox. Apparently it's awkward to fit in his carboot / roofbox tetris.

Based on what you said above hillbilly I will email and request one of those pitches, so thanks!

Gruffalo I would ditch the coolbox unless you are taking trips whilst there which would need it. We did not take ours last year and it freed up so much space.

Gruffallo we are novice EHU users, have owned the extension for 6 or so years but never bothered... Think I need a continental adaptor and that will sort it

Fridge and pitch at lake requested... They do seem v slow on email but reply to say ' don't worry Madame it is all in hand' periodically

I got a pitch response pretty quickly yesterday. Pitch near the lake sorted.
