@ practical camping arse fun.

Is that in the same camping category as angry silent sleeping bag sex?

GobblersKnob · 18/06/2012 19:45

at 'practical campin'g arse fun.

But where do I put my tea? Where is the headrest? Where oh where is the padding? Not to mention the natty little pocket for my book and Jungle Formula?

GobblersKnob · 18/06/2012 19:46

Ha, managed to snort/snurt in unison with Lovecat. Don't know where my random apostrophe came fromConfused

Slubberdegullion · 18/06/2012 20:00

yy angry silent sleeping bag sex follows practical camping arse fun.

Gobblers padding? You are not worthy of the Forge Steel if you need padding.

Do you reckon you could sit in it at 34 weeks pregnant?? I'm going to a festival and need a small comfy chair for my large pregnant behind - is this it!?

Caerlaverock · 18/06/2012 20:16

I want this chair

Slubberdegullion · 18/06/2012 20:57

Oh that's nice Caer. Look you can get one of these to match.

cross, ummm, not sure. You could email the chair people and ask them. That's quite a lot of bend you need to do to get out of it.

Migsy1 · 18/06/2012 21:07

$70 and it has 2 legs missing?! No Sireee!

YellowDinosaur · 18/06/2012 21:16

:o migsy

CaptainNancy · 18/06/2012 21:23

Gosh- they don't look like they'd support a sturdy person, do they?

Slubberdegullion · 18/06/2012 21:25

Pfft

17 stones 2 pounds they hold Nancy. How sturdy are you?

OP posts:
Slubberdegullion · 18/06/2012 21:26

Or that's 108.8kg in new money.

OP posts:
GobblersKnob · 18/06/2012 22:11

Oh yes to padding, comfort all the way.

This is a camping chair to enjoy the sunset in.

CaptainNancy · 18/06/2012 23:22

Well... about half that! But still... they remind me of those odd pushchairs with 2 tiny wheels that people rave about because they're so good on sand Confused

Roses12s · 18/06/2012 23:44

They look like a lot of work to put up in the rain. My own chairs are admittedly bulky and the legs are unstable but you just shake them and they pop up. I watched the vid for 2 mins and he was still unpacking the legs.

Lovecat · 19/06/2012 06:58

You want fun whilst sitting, Slub? I give you FUN

Slubberdegullion · 19/06/2012 08:26

at inflatable lounger and ginormo sports chair. Wtf is that???

I'm still not put off by your scorn.

OP posts:
dancingintherain · 19/06/2012 18:44

Or how about this
www.ticketothemoon.com/en/parachute-hammock-chair.html

(Shows self up as inexperienced in the linking department)
Surely the ultimate in camping chair related fun! Might need to add the boat to the list too though...

YellowDinosaur · 19/06/2012 18:51

Dancing that looks like one of those things they have to winch you into swimming pools when you no longer have use of your legs :o Ticks my fun box more than Slubbers 2 legged thing though!

(by the way are you my friend who is a long time lurker and introduced me to this forum?)

Slubberdegullion · 19/06/2012 18:54

Yes. That is a hydrotherapy pool sling.

My two legged chair looks much funner.

OP posts:
dancingintherain · 19/06/2012 18:54

Yes well might need one of those after breaking back falling off slubbers two legged chair after too many pimms in a tin

Been here two minutes and already outed

Slubberdegullion · 19/06/2012 18:58

For goodness sake! Are you lot all osteoporotic or something? The monarch is like 2cm off the ground, if you happen to lose your balance then you just tip over onto the grass.

OP posts:
YellowDinosaur · 19/06/2012 19:48

No don't hide dancing its nice to see you :)

Slubber your chair might be small and light. And believe me I can see the appeal of that. But it has 2 legs. That doesn't really optimise functionality when it comes to chairs does it?

Slubberdegullion · 19/06/2012 19:50

but your two legs make up the four legs.

2 legs (chair) + 2 legs (human) = 4 legs of sitting camping chair action
