My time on mn is up. It really is time for me to give up for good.

The camping topic is the reason I have stuck around here for so long.

I seem to remember saying goodbye to you at least once before so am withholding any gushing.......but will give you a manly thump, I would be sad to never see you post again, you always make me smile (actually that is quite gushy isn't it? Ahem, as you were).

Can't really blame you have practically given up myself, but I do like an occasional lurk through camping, 'tis the only nice and recognizable bit of mn left, the rest is all shrieking and shouting and too much for me anymore.

Oh. Please don't leave for good, Slubber. In all honesty, several of my favourite threads on MN were started and hilariously maintained by you. It just wouldn't be MN without old timers people like you here.

There's a lot of this going on, isn't there? I've only been on MN just under 4 years and even I can feel how things have changed, but surely there're moments of genuine mumsnettery still?
