I can see there was a thread already but it's a few months old and I don't want to add from a dead thread!

Hi LogicMakesSense hopefully I have added you as a friend on MyFitnessPal.

I stopped dieting when I started IVF treatment, I was lucky to get pregnant and my little girl is now 9 months. I lost my baby weight very quickly without trying but I am still 20kg (3 stone) over my healthy BMI. I have been trying to get to a healthy weight for the last 17 years and I am utterly sick of not reaching my goal.

Hi thank you! I have 2.5 stone to lose. I was a size 10 til I had ds and ate like a pig and gained 4 stone, sadly no excuse as that was nearly 9 years ago! Blush had dd since and now just want to draw a line and get a grip on myself.

I will follow you! Username is same as here. I lost 5 stone a few years ago through unhappy marriage/divorce/dating again. Then found my Mr Right...and slowly the weight is creeping up again...want to lose 2 stone. Back on it!

I keep not even logging but also a) put on loads of weight over the summer and b) need to do some exercise on the two days a year I haven't got a flipping post viral asthma cough.

Congratulations Drspouse on your full day of logging. :)

I'm back from my holiday now so I have no excuses for not logging on. I've worked out my goals for the next few months.

No 1. Reach 81.5kg. This will give me a BMI of 29.9 so I will only be overweight and not obese

No 2. Reach 79.9kg by the 23rd of October when I go back to work

No 3. Reach 74.9kg by the 23rd of December.

What are everyone else's goals?

Hi, I too am trying to get back on it. I am a teacher so body needs to recover from 6 weeks of eating and drinking. Lost loads on mfp a few years ago but never quite managed to get rid of that final stone and have started to sneak up again recently. Ideally I would like to lose 2 stone and 1 of those by Xmas. Slow and steady won the race before and it shall again. Have logged for 2 days so feeling like I have made progressSmile

Well done on your last two days. I have struggled to get going. My house is a tip as I am still unpacking and washing from the holiday; then last night all the electricity in the street blew. I need a calm clean house in order to plan some meals and get cooking. I have been looking at some recipes and I am thinking about buying a slow cooker. I think lots of filling stews might help.

My story is I was a proper gym bunny till a few years ago. Change of job meant erratic hours and coupled with other bits and bobs (excuses) have completely lost motivation.

Now 2 stone heavier than I should be and staring menopause in the face.

Best to start MFPing tomorrow as currently on mumsnet, with a cup of tea and a bag of triple chocolate cookies Blush

Lovely to have some more people on MFP :-) new term going well so far for me, I like to eat so I’m trying to run every day in September to earn more calories... 6 days of that done so far!

I did Shred on Weds for the first time in a couple of years. At the moment I've got one day a week off but after Christmas it will be two afternoons instead so I can squeeze it in between work and school run.
Also aiming to cycle to work twice a week!

I’ve managed to run every day this month so far - not always far, yesterday was 2km, but it all helps. Also signed up for a months trial of Aaptive, hoping to get a good core routine going before I have to start paying...
