Anyone else starting (again) today, calorie counting our way down to a healthier weight?

I've done ww and just can't be bothered with points and don't have the time to fit in a meeting for ww or sw. So I've got my app up and running again (nutracheck), have paid for 3 months of membership and now am committing myself to logging what I eat as dilligently as I can.

In 4 weeks time I'm away with the family in Devon and I don't want to feel I have to hide from the camera - so I want to do as much good in 4 weeks as I can.

Then in 11 weeks time I'm in London and then in Spain. Spain is the biggest motivation as I don't want to feel self conscious in shorts etc by the pool, but have always hated my legs and my bum!

1400 cals target a day.
Earn 200 cals exercise a day target too.

Can I join too? On mfp and aiming to average around 1400 calories a day per week.

I hope looking at it weekly rather than daily works as I think I can do that sustainably rather than day after day of 1400.

My problem has always been when I'm good I'm very very good but when I'm bad I'm awful! So hoping doing like this will give me more scope for eating more on some days and balancing it out on other days - and get me out of the mindset of 'good' and 'bad'.... 🙄

I have three stone to lose - possibly four. It's been so long that I've forgotten what my ideal weight is.

How’s everyone going? I started a 1500 calorie diet in January, lost 5kg in about 2 months then plateaued. I stopped following the diet but I’m still around the sand weight. I’m wondering if I hit it really hard again now if I’ll have another one of those amazing 3kg drops in the space of a month. Anyone tried this to get out of a plateau?

I’ve not been as disciplined as I’d like to be the last week or so, combination of busy/hormones/illness and tiredness. Weighed this morning though and I haven’t gained, just haven’t lost. So I need to get back on it - 1500 per day was working well for me.
