DD2 is 6 days old and the midwife has just been to weigh her. I was expecting the usual loss although her output has been great. She's put on 5oz! I've been full of the baby blues for the last day or so and it was just the boost I needed After so many problems establishing feeding with DD1 I'm so chuffed that it's going so well with DD2. As you were

Well done you! You have every right to feel chuffed.

mememe30 · 08/03/2010 17:17

Well done to you and dd2. I struggled to establish feeding with my dd so I know how you feel. Relax and enjoy your girls!!

Thankyou Not sure I shouldbe too surprised though, her first feed was 6 hours long! It was a shock to the system as I had pethidine with DD1 so she was a bit sleepier. All she's done is eat and puke since she came out

A hearty well done from me. And at friction burn. How cute.

CharCharGabor · 10/03/2010 11:09

Thanks PuzzleRocks Feel a bit deflated after hv visit a minute ago though, she did a visible and rude double take when I said DD1 (2.5) was still bf,and proceeded to suggest that now would be a good time to stop feeding her. This 5 minutes after telling me to make sure DD1 got plenty of attention She had such a look of disgust on her face, it's really upset me and pissed me off. Have surrounded myself with too good a circle of supportive people, had forgotten most people thought I was disgusting FFS.
