Tbh, if she doesn't want it and it's hurting it may be the best time for weaning. I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to disagree with me, but that is what i would do.

this happened to my friend, her dd was 9 months. the doc said that the hormones can slightly change the taste of your milk, completely normal.

Happened to me-one way I realised belatedly that I was pregnant with DC2!DC1 was 11 months

Your milk supply can dip as well when you are pregnant so maybe she isn't getting it fast enough and that's why she is frustrated?

There is good information on kellymom

My DD self weaned from me when she was 10 months and I was 10 weeks pregnant, but she had been fussing for ages, and like you it was very very painful. After a weekend where she had been screaming something all the time and DH and I finally clicked after two days that she was screaming for a bottle and that she had been really hungry, we finally decided to just go with formula. I was really sad about it thouh as I had wanted to feed her well into her second year.

there is a nursing when BFing support thread on here somewhere. I'll see if I can find you alink

congrats on your pregnancy. I have a 17 mo gap, and although it's tough, it's good fun as well
