Plumcake,
well done for getting this far, My DD is 13 weeks old and what I can tell you from my experience is this:
The initial latch on pain subsided with me after about 2 wks.
Lying down feeding is a lifesaver, I did this constantly for the first few weeks as DD fed all the time.
Sleep whenever your DD sleeps, forget the housework!
Eat whatever you want, crave, fancy. It felt good, and it kept my energy up!!)
Get out of the house with DD and go somewhere where there are other mums. Even if your exhausted. Meeting other mums who were going through the same thing and talking about it made it worthwhile 10x over.
Try to hold out on using formula for as long as you can while your supply is still establishing itself. (Mine took 12 wks)
I got DH to give EBM feeds after 4 weeks, usually middle of night feeds so I could get a couple of hours sleep in a row!
We're still going with the BFing, and I'm soooo glad we are. I really enjoy it and cant believe I almost gave it all up..... many times.
Every week that goes by, things WILL get a little easier.
Good luck
