Here's the very place...

Separate places for positive and negative. I have a small, pessimistic bet with myself that the latter will be longer than the former...

another good idea hunker

I have a few to witter on about

BahHunkerBug · 09/12/2007 15:12

Thank you, Franny.

I've been neglecting the blog lately and this will inspire me. And outrage me.

I have tried to be balanced

it was a struggle

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 09/12/2007 15:22

I'll do it after dinner, so I can have a think, the one that comes to mind was my wonderful mw with DS, however I also had bad experiences with the SCBU nurses and the nurse on HDU after my el cs. But the MW outweighed the rest so please bear that in mind!!!

BahHunkerBug · 09/12/2007 15:35

Lovely, Franny - thank you!

VS, look forward to hearing about the wonderful mw. Sorry about the others though.

Done it.

Bocohohoho · 09/12/2007 16:33

Found an example for each.

GoodGollyMissMolly · 09/12/2007 16:45

Hunker, I have added my positive breastfeeding story.

BahHunkerBug · 09/12/2007 16:48

Thank you!

The positive ones are lovely, aren't they?

Thankfully the negative stories were ones that we all overcame and were still able to feed our babies.
Unfortunately not everyone is as lucky

BahHunkerBug · 09/12/2007 17:20

Yes, luckily, VS - I reckon had DS2 been my first, I'd have ffed him. That's one of the (many) reasons I think this is so important. Infant nutrition (and future health) shouldn't be dependent on who's on shift that night

Bocohohoho · 09/12/2007 17:21

Luckily I only saw that HV twice and then moved away and the HV here is really good.

BahHunkerBug · 09/12/2007 18:42

There are some excellent ones out there, Boco - just the mental ones seem the most vocal...! [exasperated]

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 09/12/2007 20:04

Bump, I know there are more of you with bf stories out there!

BahHunkerBug · 09/12/2007 21:40

Thank you, VS!

OP posts:
TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 09/12/2007 21:49

I'll bump it every hour or so, then you leave it an hour and thank me, deal?

BahHunkerBug · 09/12/2007 21:50

Sounds good!

aw hunker, just saw the breast crawl vid on your blog and have gone all watery-eyed! didn't realise it was a thing but pretty sure that's what ds did.

have to go look at him sleeping now [soppy emoticon]

BahHunkerBug · 09/12/2007 22:31

Aw, how sweet! It's amazing, isn't it?

OP posts:
BahHunkerBug · 10/12/2007 00:08

Anyone else?

OP posts:
IndulgeMePlease · 10/12/2007 01:11

Can someone clever link me to the breast crawl video please?

(Just realised I sound a bit like a weirdo - I promise I am just an interested breast-feeding mother and not a perv!!)

BahHunkerBug · 10/12/2007 07:36

IMP (ooh, what nice initials!) - click on the link in the first post of this thread - it's to my blog. On the right-hand side, further down the page, is a link to the breastcrawl video. It's a tearjerker!

When I told dh about it last night, he was all, "yaaay! go, baby!" He was such a help keeping me going - I posted on your 'negative' blog Hunker!

AlistairSim · 10/12/2007 08:15

Have added my two pence worth.
