why are maternity bras so crap and make you have a 'mono boob'??

I am sad to say after 3 babies i have only just found the first decent maternity bra that actually makes you look like you have nice tits and not one big mono-boob. For this i feel the need to tell the world - get a Freya Maternity Bra, they are lovely on, the best fit i have EVER found and it makes you look uplifted and pert and not at all saggy. PLEASE GO AND BUY ONE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF how good it will make you feel.

I am on the hunt for snazzy leopard print ones for when I need some again. I do beleive Gwen Stefani wears some cool ones. Not that I'm shallow or anything .

ggg- just when breastfeeding. Isn't that heinous (to be so big)? Before I was pregnant I was a humble DD. Now I have been breastfeeding a year, I was hoping to some slight reduction, but nope.

Hey - snap charliegal - dd before bf, now g. They are more than a handful - especially at the gym! royce do some nice ones in a g cup - ive got one pink one with lace (think its meant to be white but it has now gone the way of all my underwear and is now grey), and a multicoloured spotty one. Wish i could just walk into a shop and buy one though - feel a bit of a freak to have to send of specially!

I think you need ot look at internet conversion sites for teh sizing regarding 90/95 etc. As regards the cup size, I think they go up to an F, but I know balcony type styles fit differently.

Don't you love the man ogling one of the hussies models in the background and the fact that they are all skinny and gorgeous (post partum hahahhahahahha) and there is not a baby in sight!

Have a look at the link on the right "calculez votre taille made in femmes" next to the bra. Maybe the sizing will come up differently.

The French doyens in all the lingerie departments measure bosom by eye, btw. I thought I was 36B in the UK but think I measure an exact 34A here (90B, I think).

AmpleBosom and Figleaves also have some bras that "lift and seperate" , for those of us in need of seperation...

I was a 32F before and about 34G now I'm BF. There aren't that many stores that stock a 32F (obviously if you're a 32 you can't be more than a D cup ) so I'm kind of used to the mail order malarky

OMG loving those sexy french bras!

I was measured in Bravissimo as a 34G (yikes!) but find I can get away with a 38 but in a smaller cup size (DD or E) although strap rides up more at the back. But Bravissimo insist on bras very tight round the chest but larger cup size. Now (TMI alert - look away now if squeamish I find the undersides of said G's get somewhat damp, sweaty and, er, milky at the end of the day (I know, I've always been a messy slut) and too tight means a bit of chafeing. so the bigger but looser chest size suits me at the moment while BF...

Upshot is - lovely bras should fit (if only SMP was a bit more generous to allow for them...)

Why did I not do some hunting before. I've been stuck with a crappy selection of pink spotty things from mothercare. Have even been wearing non breastfeeding bras in an attempt to look slightly less frumpy. Not easy to find when you're a 30FF!!

Freya are designed for big titted women so do not worry if you have big ones - they go way up the scale of sizes! AND they don't do a 'white one' they do a white one with flower pattern on it, which i thought was abit naff, but it actually hids your breast pad so you can wear pads and a white top on, ontop and you can't see the pads! BRILLIANT!!

I've just bought a couple of BF vests from Mothercare for a tenner each. They have a normal vest front with a clip to the strap. then behind they have another layer that only goes down to below the tits (you know one of those 'internal support) bits. But this then has a 'helpful' slit in it to reveal as little as poss. Haven't actually worn them yet so can't report on how well they work...
