why are maternity bras so crap and make you have a 'mono boob'??

I am sad to say after 3 babies i have only just found the first decent maternity bra that actually makes you look like you have nice tits and not one big mono-boob. For this i feel the need to tell the world - get a Freya Maternity Bra, they are lovely on, the best fit i have EVER found and it makes you look uplifted and pert and not at all saggy. PLEASE GO AND BUY ONE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF how good it will make you feel.

Trouble is, the underwired ones dont come in my size... i would LOVE to be able to wear an underwired bra again. i cant bear the 'hang loose' hippy feel!!!

I was a 34FF before Bf and now, last measured at bravissimo at 36H!!! i swear, I dont look like my lils are that big! i dont know where the size comes from. however, if i try and squeeze into any thing smaller, i really can't. so it must be true...

will be getting a couple of new ones first thing tomorrow when i can find my credit card! lol

just to add.. I had a couple of fairly good ones from bravissimo, which became really quite crappy.. although, i didnt realise it until, i bought the freay rosalie bra. its os comfy, so supportive and quite pretty too. But i dyed it a weird colour last week.

So, advise is, get a new one from time to time, it makes such a difference. I've also not been generally washing it in the machine. Juat soak it in warm water aver night. Much better for the elastic and supportiveness.

I found a seller on ebay that sells the nursing strap clips and elastic, so that you can customise your normal bras and turn them into nursing bras.

I just wanted to let you know that you can get the gorgeous french nursing bras from the Seraphine site. Not cheap, but they do look gorgeous, so much nicer than some of the terrible nursing bras. I am 30G/32 FF (yikes!) and found the Freya nursing bra the best ever! Blooming Marvellous have also started doing a range from NZ called Hot Milk - they look fab!

Emma Jane vests are good and the fabric makes your tummy flatter. They are monoboobic, though.
