So, would you BF at a meeting with your boss?

I have a meeting with my boss tomorrow, and will have 3 month old dd2 with me.

I'm worrying that she might get hungry during the meeting. Am I being a wuss? I have no qualms about bfeeding anywhere else.

I feel embarrassed about feeling embarrassed IYKWIM!

Thanks for the advice! I was feeling a bit confused, and now, having read all the different perspectives here, I am completely and totally confused......

Haven't had the meeting yet - am in NZ, so my "tomorrow" was actually your "day after tomorrow" iyswim.

I can't actually hand dd2 to anyone else because there isn't anyone else. DH would help but he works miles away and wouldn't be able to get there and back in time. We don't have any relatives etc here.

But in any case, dd2 is a Klingon and goes beserk when anyone else tries to cuddle her. So I just wear her everywhere I go.

The meeting was fine. I fed dd2 to the gills beforehand, and she sat on my lap listening attentively to the conversation - I was hardly aware that she was there.

She also had a lovely time smiling meltingly at everyone we met in the department and got lots of cooing and admiration.

So all in all, a successful outing.....I've decided that next time (if there is one) I will have the courage of my convictions and just feed her!
